At Khmai we take you on a culinary journey through Cambodia like no other. Each month, we travel to a new province, exploring its unique flavors, ingredients, and traditions through our exclusive Cambodian Tasting journey—the first and only authentic Cambodian tasting journey in the U.S.
From the pepper fields of Kampot to the vibrant markets of Siem Reap, each region tells a different story, and we bring it to life on your plate. Every dish is carefully crafted to preserve the integrity of traditional Cambodian cuisine while elevating it with high-quality ingredients and refined techniques.
Our goal is to share the flavors and stories that have been lost, reviving Cambodia’s rich culinary heritage in a way that is both authentic and extraordinary.

A story of resilience, a story of family and a story of strength and love.
Our restaurant, Khmai, was built as a tribute to our Executive Chef’s mother and her heritage. The name is a blend of "Khmer", representing the Cambodian language and culture, and "Mai", meaning "mother." It symbolizes the deep cultural roots and personal story that drive everything we do.

Oddar Meanchey Province rests along Cambodia’s northwest border. Framed by the Dangrek Mountains and shaped by strength, this region tells a story of rebuilding, endurance, and pride.
Our newest Tasting Journey honors that spirit through bold, grounded flavors rooted in family and land.
